The Dayton area’s sixth Dayton-area Victor’s Taco Shop is coming to Kettering, within a few hundred feet of another new restaurant launched last month by the same owners.
Hector Gonzales, who oversees five other Victor’s Taco Shop locations in the Dayton-Springfield region and is the founder of Hector’s Taco Shop in Fairborn, told this news outlet he plans to open a Victor’s Taco Shop location on Bigger Road in the Oak Creek Plaza in south Kettering.
The space in the 5700 block of Bigger Road previously housed a dry-cleaning store. And it’s just a short pitching-web golf shot from the new Sassy Acai Bowls carryout and delivery restaurant that opened last month offering healthy-choice options from a carryout and delivery drive-through location at 5707 Bigger Road in an Oak Creek Plaza outlet. Gonzales and his family are the founders of Sassy Acai Bowls.
There is no projected timeline yet for the new Victor’s location, Gonzales said, but it is expected to open later this year.
Victor’s Taco Shop’s menu features a variety of Mexican specialties, including tacos, enchiladas, burritos, taquitos and tostadas, as well as omelets and breakfast burritos.
The other Victor’s Taco Shop locations in the Miami Valley are on Keowee Street in Dayton and in Fairborn, Huber Heights, Springfield and Xenia. The small chain also operates locations in Marion, Ohio, and in Delaware, Ohio.
